Iconic Revival 2024 BMR

Awesome meeting organised by John Weston (and grace) for Parkinson’s yet again that ran like clockwork and even the weather was amazing all weekend.

Iconic Revival 2024 BMR and in 2wd I ran an original RPM long armed RC10 with JC Racing Products wheel adaptors which meant I could use 870c Wheels. I had JC Racing front hubs that felt really good. With one of my son of jackal shells.

Even though I was on the pace a few mistakes ment I qualified a little lower than I would have wished which meant I made the A final amongst a host of European and national champions. The standard was really high and every driver in the Final was on the lead lap.

Craig Drescher RC was the standout driver in my opinion and really showed his class, as did kev Lee Nathan to name big a few.

On to Sunday and I went back to my Schumacher roots. running the only CAT 3000 entered in the event I was testing Kevin Fenrich new adjustable toe in blocks and running xxx4 wing.  The car with a few tweaks was planted. There were some really run close racing, amongst some amazing young drivers, and I managed to line up 3rd.

Great crack in the pits with Lucy HB Matthew Ward Owain Patrick Andy Webb Jiffy Giles Mark Ashforth maddy and nice to catch up with everyone.

Onwards to the next one let’s hope the weather is as good.
