Brilliant if very very hot weekend of racing, The Iconic 2023 oz.
I ran in the later class 2wd with a rebuilt and what started the day very shiny Associated B3. Didn’t quite get to grips with it but it ran well enough and enjoyed it.
In the 87/88 class in 4wd I ran a Modified Optima Mid in LWB form.  Cars were good, and managed a second place in 4wd with the win going to chris ely, who drove well all weekend. Although I had the fastest lap which we all know is important [looser talk].
Shout out to Philip Barlow who sorted me out with some UJs when mine failed. Without him I would have struggled to get it back on the track.

Roll on next year , prep starts now 🤣 thinking cat 3000, and ultima rere for astro at Bingham.
